As an all-around entertainer David is not a stranger to the Entertainment business. In fact he works in just about every aspect of it from dancing, singing, choreography, consulting, acting and even directing. A professional performer and vocalist for over 15 years David has pushed himself to build an impressive entertainment resume with a diverse portfolio of work. David is extremely driven to always give the best show possible often leaving his audience wanting more. David started his entertainment career as a dancer with various groups like, "Flystyle Funk Patrol" and "Footworks" which led him to becoming a dance instructor at Step I Dance studio and later choreographer to several local acts, such as "Hipservice". This year the National Music Awards awarded "Hipservice" with 2009 "Americas Best Dance Band" honors.
David was also one of the few male dancers to dance with the Royal Court Dancers of the Sacramento Kings for a season. His exposure to performing with Hipservice as a dancer fueled his passion to become an all-around performer like many of his idols: Michael and Janet Jackson, Usher and Beyonce. To begin his singing career David started working with SLS Vocal instructor Daniel E. Hayes. This combination of David and Daniel led to several awards at local singing competitions, Karaoke championships and performances at the California State Fair. David then later fused his singing, dancing and acting abilities to perform in several musical theatre shows including, "Best of Broadway", "Give my regards" and "Evangelize" to name a few. David is a true entertainer and surpasses the often used title. "triple threat". David can be seen on T.V. in various commercials, The History Channels "Honor Deferred" and various independent films or onstage live as the lead singer for local cover Band "Love Train".
As as singer for "Love Train" David loves to perform for his audiences using all of his talents together to create an experience to remember. The Auburn Journal 2009 - "His singing has been described as a rhythm-and-bluesy style". 'David and "Love Train" can be seen all over Northern California in performances like, Auburn's "Black and White Ball", "The Sacramento Aids Walk", "Roseville Aquatic Center" and many more. For more details check out their website at www.thelovetrainband.com . David is excited to work closely with Daniel Hayes and The Voice Studio to offer a class in performing. As David always says, "its one thing to sing well and its another to be remembered for a great show". David wants to provide a platform to allow all of his students to offer just that. A great show to remember!
